The BK-117 is as detailed on the outside as it is on the inside.
Handles, hinges, antennas... No detail has been overlooked.
The 3D mesh is coated with carefully unwrapped high resolution textures
Rotor blades bend and flex depending on RPM, collective pitch, aircraft weight and load factor. Each blade bends independently with cyclic pitch changes. If you look carefully, you might be able to spot rotor blades on one side of the helicopter bending more than the blades on the other side.
Both main and tail rotor hubs feature animated pitch links and blade pitch. Main rotor swash plate is also animated correctly with collective and cyclic pitch changes.
The BK-117 comes in a clean configuration and with radome and wire protection kit installed. Naturally, all doors open and close, revealing the interior equipment.
Crew members and patient on litter can be added or removed from the weight and balance menu, with appropriate effect on weight and center of gravity.
